This game, Hearts and Tarts Video Slot game has a very cute game theme; being cute cherubic characters of the Court of the Queen of Hearts. Chubby Queen of Hearts reigns over her court and she has a chubby boy who steals the tarts and some sexy maids who serve the tarts. The music is also very entertaining like a jazzy type cabaret music. A trumpet sounds when you get a win or a scatter symbol.

I was playing the game for about 15 minutes, up and down with small wins of a few cents here and there when; I hit 4 Big Wins in quick succession. These big wins are mostly due to the Wild symbol that kept on popping up. Wow, this really gave me some enthusiasm to increase my bet from the one coin per line that I was playing to 5 coins per line. I felt that the game needed some warming up as it was a bit cold to start with.

The Wild symbol is the “Hearts & Tarts” Symbol and substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter. All wins are doubled when the Wild symbol substitutes. The Wild is also stacked inside the Free Spins feature and awards 4 x your win during the feature. The Queen of Hearts Symbol is the only other symbol that is stacked, in both the base game and the free spins feature.

It was good while before I got a 3 Scatter that triggered the Free Spins feature. I was lucky enough to get a Big Win during the Free Spin feature to, about $60 on a 60c bet, nice. All in all I won 4588 coins(about $240). The Scatter symbol is the “Crown” symbol and, as where the pay outs are paid left to right, it pays anyway. During normal play the 2 Scatters appear regularly and the value is twice the bet. When you get 3, 4 or 5 “Crowns” it triggers the 10 Free Spins. Free spins can be retriggered and all wins are doubled. Scatter wins are added to payline wins and are multiplied by the total be staked.

This game will appeal to you, if you are in a relaxed mood. It will entertain you and maybe you’ll have better luck than me at it. I won some and lost some and basically came out even. You may decide to take your stake down a bit when the game gets slow to pay, and up you bet when it starts to pay again. I think that it’s a pity that the game doesn’t have a gamble feature so, that you can gamble on your smaller wins to increase them as, you get mostly smaller wins overall.
