Dolphin’s Tale Video Slot Review

Dolphin’s Tale

Dolphin’s Tale Video Slot game starts out so cute, do not skip the intro movie. It will put a smile on your face and make you want to play Dolphin’s Tale. The theme is a cute dolphin detective story with Rookie Blue as the main character and the Spy Clam that keeps an eye on the city and all the other characters of The Blue Squad. Do read the pay views to get to know all the characters and their pay outs. This game is played over 40 lines so there are many chances of winning.

It was a while into playing the game that I hit my first 3 Scatter that triggered the Free Spin Bonus. I then had a choice of mystery spins. I chose 25 free spins and got x3 multiplier. I chose 25 spins as I thought that the game was rather tight so, I would better my chances if I had more spins. The free spins feature was not bad; I made $203 with an initial $2 bet. During the feature I also got a few nice wins (shown).

In this game, The Spy Clam symbol is the Scatter, get two and you get to your double your initial stake, get 3, 4 or 5 and it triggers the Free Spin feature. The Spy Clam are scattered about the city to help the sea squad keep a watchful eye on things in the city. Unfortunately, free spins cannot be retriggered in a Free Spin feature.  As per usual, all bets and lines played are the same as the game that started the feature and, wins shown during Free spin feature have already been multiplied by initiating line be. Scatter wins are multiplied by total bet and scatter wins are added to payline wins.

The Dolphin “The Rookie” symbol which is WILD, under normal circumstances and substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter symbol. During the Free spin feature, you get the “The Rookie” dolphin symbol and an Extra Wild symbol (a detective badge) which appears randomly on reel 2, 3 or 4 to substitute for on symbol per reel except for the Scatter symbol.  The wild symbol appears often during the game, substituting and completing sets.

All wins pay out left to right except for scatter, which pay any. Only highest win paid per selected line and all wins multiplied by coins staked per line, except scatters.

In my opinion the game is a bit on the tight side and it’s almost as if it needs a chance to warm up before it starts to really make you money. I was up and down during the game as the sets didn’t complete that often and the pays are small, mostly 3′s and 4′s but no 5 of a kind. The best thing to get are the free spin bonuses, they make you good money. This is a fun game to play so, keep a look out for Free spins features.
